PREPARATION AND USE

Step-by-step instructions

Follow the corrected Full HD video and approved imagery together.

Open the sealed 3 ml cartridge pouch
STEP 01

Open the sealed cartridge pouch

Peel the white strip back from the far right-hand end and keep the refill inside the sterile field until loading.

Remove the matching spring-loaded pen lid
STEP 02

Remove the spring-loaded lid

Pull the long matching white lid straight off and keep it nearby.

Remove the clear chrome-ended cartridge carrier
STEP 03

Remove the clear cartridge carrier

Hold the pen body steady and turn the empty chrome-ended carrier anticlockwise.

Load the interchangeable 3 ml cartridge
STEP 04

Load the interchangeable cartridge

Insert the silver capped end first. The black rubber plunger enters last.

Attach the loaded clear cartridge carrier
STEP 05

Attach the loaded carrier

Screw the chrome-ended carrier clockwise onto the pen until it sits straight, flush and secure.

Open a new sterile 32G 4 mm needle
STEP 06

Open a new 32G needle

Peel off the protective seal completely. Use a new sterile 32G 4 mm needle.

Screw the capped needle onto the threaded carrier
STEP 07

Screw the capped needle on

Grip the large clear outer cap and screw the green hub flush onto the threaded carrier end.

Remove and retain the large outer needle cap
STEP 08

Remove and keep the large outer cap

Pull the large clear tapered cap straight off and keep it for safe needle removal.

Remove the small inner needle cap
STEP 09

Remove the small inner cap

Pull the short translucent inner cap off without touching the exposed needle.

Prime the pen upright in a laboratory with a gloved hand
STEP 10

Prime the cartridge

Hold the pen upright, turn the dial clockwise, then press the extended grey end fully until one droplet appears.

Refit the matching spring-loaded pen lid
STEP 11

Refit the spring-loaded lid

Push the original matching white safety lid fully over the carrier and fitted needle.

Return the pen dial counter to zero
STEP 12

Return the dial to zero and calculate the conversion

After the droplet appears, rotate the dial anticlockwise until the counter reads 0.

Laboratory calculation for any cartridge strength

Let S be the total cartridge amount in mg, V the total cartridge volume in mL, D the dial units and A the represented amount in mg.

C = S ÷ V mg/mL. Each dial unit represents 0.01 mL, so A = D × C × 0.01 mg.

For a 3 mL cartridge: A = D × S ÷ 300 mg. To convert a pre-specified laboratory amount into dial units: D = A × 300 ÷ S.

Conversion only. This equation does not choose or recommend a human dose. Research use only; not for human or veterinary use. Do not improvise or round dial values.

WORKED LABORATORY EXAMPLE

30 mg / 3 mL conversion

Here, C = 30 ÷ 3 = 10 mg/mL. Each dial unit represents 0.01 mL, so one unit represents 0.1 mg. This table converts dial values; it does not choose or recommend a human dose.

100.10 mL = 1 mg200.20 mL = 2 mg300.30 mL = 3 mg400.40 mL = 4 mg500.50 mL = 5 mg600.60 mL = 6 mg

Research use only. Apply the formula only to a pre-specified laboratory amount and verify the cartridge strength and total volume first.

Full-length pen pressed vertically into a silicone training pad
STEP 13

Training pad demonstration

Press the full-length pen vertically against the silicone training pad and press the grey end fully.

Remove the matching white spring-loaded lid
STEP 14

Remove the white lid

After the demonstration, pull the spring-loaded safety lid straight off.

Cover the needle using the retained outer cap
STEP 15

Cover the needle

Guide the kept large clear tapered cap over the needle without touching it.

Remove the capped needle into an approved sharps container
STEP 16

Remove and dispose

Unscrew the fully capped green needle directly into an approved sharps container.

Place the complete capped pen in the open Revitalise case
STEP 17

Place the capped pen in the open case

Fit the white lid, place the complete pen in the open Revitalise case and position it inside the refrigerator.

STORAGE

Close the case and refrigerate

Store the complete pen in its closed protective case between 2°C and 8°C. The optimal temperature is 4°C. Do not freeze.
